Still Life Studies

Still life drawings and paintings. Simple but natural. I enjoyed creating these images of the ‘everyday’ and normals things that are part of our daily lives. It taught me so much about shape form and colour. Until I looked at things that are part of our daily lives and observed the similarities and differences they no longer were the ‘everyday’. Trying to put things you see on to paper or canvas, regardless of the media made me realise that when we really look at things that are part of the natural world with clearer vision it really is quite amazing.
